I had been looking for a sauna for a while and took a chance on this one. It was a great choice it actually gets really hot up to 85 deg which is much better than a lot of other portable options. I don’t think you’ll find any other options that are better for the price. Would definitely recommend!

We recommend sessions to be 15-30 minutes. If you're a regular sauna user, you may be able to stay longer. It is unlikely that you'll experience more significant health benefits by staying inside for longer as your body will have cleared out the majority of harmful toxins inside the body through sweating within the first 10-15 min.
If you have a high sensitivity to heat, have a fever, have a condition that inhibits your ability to sweat or have a pacemaker or defibrillator- we don't recommend using our sauna.
An infrared sauna is a type of sauna that uses light to make heat. This type of sauna is sometimes called a far-infrared sauna. "Far" describes where the infrared waves fall on the light spectrum. A regular Finnish sauna uses electric conduction heat to warm the air, which in turn warms your body.
An infrared sauna heats your body directly without warming the air around you. Studies have shown that dry heat saunas are healthier for your body long term, and most longevity studies with proven health benefits are around Finnish/dry heat saunas with higher temperatures, which is why we choose this heating option for the SaunaPod.
Our patent pending heater uses resistance coils to generate heat. The current passing through these coils produces low-frequency electromagnetic fields (similar to other household appliances like hairdryers and electric stoves). It's impossible to get 0 EMF, but the SaunaPod heater is on the low end and would be classified as a Low-EMF appliance.

I’ve used it 4-5 times so far and I’m not disappointed. I’m not sure whether it gets up to proper sauna heat, even when pre-heated for 20-30 minutes. Although, I do get a proper sweat on and do have that post-sauna feeling afterwards. I can see myself using it regularly and would recommend it.
Love it, much better than we were expected. We are using it every day and it’s great. The only suggestion I would give, it would be great if it had thermometer ( we bought one of external website). Other than that, perfect.
While the quality of the pod is excellent..it was difficult to put together as everything is so tight..the dry heat really feels like an authentic sauna.. but my house is relatively cold and even at 85 degrees I barely break a sweat..so I have lined the pod on the inside with heat retaining foil that I had leftover from my garage ceiling.. this definitely brings the temperature up..but it still takes 20 mins to start sweating..but I like it..

I found video install easy to follow. Unit is well made and larger than you would expect. Im 5’11” and there is plenty of “round” space, but I struggle with truly getting comfortable. I can sit in the chair, but I cant spread out, I can’t stand up. Temperatures are exceptional and maintenance easy.
I’ve used other steam saunas before and they would only get to 103 degrees and it wasn’t the heat I was expecting. My wife wouldn’t use them, my kids weren’t fans. Eventually I stopped using them because it just didn’t feel like I was getting any value out of them. After getting g the sauna Pod, although reluctant, I use it almost everyday, my wife and kids love it. It’s dry heat, so no more wondering am I actually sweating or is it the steam. Now we know, wow, we are sweating the toxins out. The red light is an added feature. I’m able to use my phone without it being soaked with steam and I can watch videos or listen to music inside of it. The temperature seems to top out around 160, but it’s hot enough to get a great sweat going and when I combine that with the cold plunge my body I refreshed and ready to start the day. There’s have been few days I’ve missed the sauna but when I do I don’t seem to sleep as well at night. For the price, the sauna pod has great value, it works, and if you’re looking for a great sweat you won’t be disappointed.

Works great!! The material looks and feels tough and the heater did its job perfectly. Love that it’s a dry sauna instead of an infrared or steam (obviously the reason why I went with the Pod Company). The only minor issue has been that the LED magnetic strip stopped working (and it certainly doesn’t stay very well, even with the four plastic clips). I contacted the company and I’m sure it’ll be resolved quickly with a replacement. The important thing is that the sauna functions exactly as described and I look forward to many sessions, sweatin’ it out!
Update- The chair broke week 2. I still really like the quality of everything else but that is annoying. So far, so good! I really like the quality of the materials of the Sauna Pod and that is actually gets up to 180’. It takes about 20-30 minutes to hit +180 and I usually jump in at the end of my workout. The only minor gripe I have is when I get in the temp drops 5-10 degrees and it takes a while to get back up to temp. Trying to figure out how to get in more efficiently.

The pod it self feels like it’s high quality. The heater works fine and heats the pod quickly. My only issue was with the lights. The light strip has a couple clips and is supposed to attach to the frame via a combination of those clips and an adhered magnet. The magnet doesn’t work well to hold the light in place. I used about 10 zip ties to secure the light strip to the frame. For the price, adding $1 worth of clips to attach the light strip securely is not unreasonable.

Been about three weeks since I got mine and it’s a game changer as of now! As long as everything holds up, this thing makes me sweat a ton! Usually go about 30 mins and the last 5-10 minutes put you to the test mentally. Worth spending a little more than the ones I found on amazon IMO.

The Pod is perfect for a garage. I let it warm up for 10 minutes, somewhere between 175-180, sprays some eucalyptus oil in there and jump in. Throw on a 30 minute podcast and get to sweating. By the time I’m done I have a pool of sweat on the ground. I hope out, use a towel and some natural cleaner spray and wipe up all the water. Hop on the pool or shower after and feel like a million bucks the rest of the night. Best investment in some time.

This is my first time using the sauna. The price and the limited space I have in my home, this fits perfectly. I sat with 160 degrees for 15 min… then went to sit in the ice pod… I thought I was goin to feel claustrophobic in the sauna, and I didn’t feel that way. I’m so happy to add contrast therapy at a price I can afford. The sauna was pretty cool. First time ever using a sauna. There’s no comparison to report on. I’m happy with this purchase. Be careful with the poles. When I had to move the sauna to another part of my home and I had to take it apart and one of the poles broke where the connection meets to put a pole for the top. The company replaced it. Thank you.
This is a game changer! I have used other tent saunas and none of them get as hot as this one. I would recommend either place bottom on something insulated or you wont reach the 185°
The sauna works decently after a few modifications. Initially it smelled very strong of chemical offgassing, I am very sensitive and I had to run the unit about 10 times empty and wipe the inside down with essential oils before I could go inside it without getting a headache. The led light strip I had to remove, it doesn’t stay attached and the plastic casing was offgassing a strong smell. Now that I got it fixed up and aired out, it’s pretty decent. Heats up in 20 minutes and get a good sweat over a 30 min session . I had a $7,000 sauna previously but had to sell when I moved to a new place and this is a good unit for the price and portability. I wish they used less plastic on the heater as that’s where the smell was coming from and the floor material was offgassing as well, but for a first iteration it’s not bad.
